- Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13, and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 and answer the questions below.
a. What was the confusion in the Thessalonian church that Paul was addressing—and what was causing it?
b. Paul said they were uninformed. In what ways were you uninformed about the coming of the Lord—and how has our study of this informed you?
- What are the two kinds of people Paul is describing in this passage who are involved at the coming of the Lord? (14-17)
a. For the believer death is like what?
b. Sleeping believers are with who?
c. Paul’s word for death = “a place to sleep before continuing your journey.” What modern word do we use for this?
