Community Groups

Some churches call these “small groups” but the idea is the same – groups of adults getting together for food, fellowship, fun, Bible study, and prayer throughout the week. Some of these groups are based on shared interests, seasons of life, or demographics. Each group ideally has no more than 10 adults, and meetings often take place in the homes of group members or other venues around Guam. The meetings provide a great opportunity for us to live out Christ’s command to “love your neighbor as yourself.

Children's & Youth Ministries

Bayview features vibrant and engaging ministries for children and youth from the ages of newborn through 18 years old. The younger children, up to 11 years old, meet during our second service, where we feature fun activities and Bible dramas. Our Youth Ministry includes kids in middle school or high school who are 12-18 years old. This group meets on Wednesday evenings. Youth Ministry focuses on building a community of young people who love the Lord and know his Word through discipleship and group activities.

Women's Ministry

The Women of Bayview meet together for prayer, study, and fellowship. The ministry’s mission is to connect women in relationships where teaching and training produce sound doctrine, character, and cherishing the Word of God. When women join the group, they receive personal invitations to events and classes we hold throughout the year. These events include Bible studies as well as social and educational gatherings.

Men's Ministry

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). The Men of Bayview meet for indepth study of God’s Word. The ministry’s mission is to connect men in relationships where teaching and training produce sound doctrine, character, and cherishing the Word. Periodic Bible studies form the basis of this program for increasing the maturity of future leaders of Bayview Church.

Bayview Outdoors

Guam’s tropical environment and history make it an outdoors lover’s paradise. Lush forests, rolling grasslands, mountains, limestone caves, and waterfalls are our hallmarks. The island is crisscrossed by hiking trails that pass through these natural landmarks, as well as historic sites where you can see relics from Guam’s indigenous Chamorro population, the Spanish colonization, and World War II battlefields. Hiking is so popular here that it even has its own nickname, “boonie stomping.” Bayview’s boonie stomping group invites you to connect with us for fellowship, good exercise and–most important–fun.

Serving

Find a place where you can serve the church and our community.

Sunday Morning Teams

Sunday services have a lot of moving parts and require many members of the church to serve. Ranging from public platforms to behind the scenes, there is a way for everyone to serve on Sunday mornings.

Ministry Teams

Ministry teams provide a wonderful way for us to serve alongside others as we meet the needs of the church. While some of the ministries may require a certain skill or gifting, the vast majority of ministry opportunities are open to anyone. You will find people of all backgrounds and stages of life serving together in meaningful ways.

Outreach

Bayview has a deep commitment to the spiritual growth and spread of the Gospel among the diverse cultures on Guam and in Mircronesia. We partner with other Christian churches to support a food ministry, help for pregnant teens and the unborn, and a fostering ministry. We have also supported an orphanage in Bali, a local tutoring program for impoverished children, and missionaries around the region and the globe. We are committed to implementing the Great Commission and displaying our faith through our works.
